Classes & Workshops
Are you looking to expand your artistic knowledge or niche? Do you feel stuck in a creative rut or just feel limited in your knowledge of mediums and process? Is there artwork you have made that you would like to add encaustic to? It is common for all of us to find ourselves limited in our pursuits or unsure of how to begin working with new mediums. By deepening our knowledge of old concepts or taking on brand new information we can shift our perspective and move to a new level of creativity. I am excited to now offer both private encaustic and mixed media classes direct from my studio, as well as group workshops at New Cottage Arts in Denver. In these workshops you will have the opportunity to explore a mixture of dynamic mediums and processes whether you are an advanced artist or just beginning your exploration.
To discuss private classes out of my studio, please email me directly at email@example.com

“Whether new to encaustic (as was I), or a seasoned practitioner wanting to learn a fresh approach, you will enjoy this class. Annie brings an insightful, approachable vibe and encourages each student to explore in a way meaningful to them. She adjusts her level of involvement to suit each student’s needs and preference. A fun way to spend the day learning and feeding off of the collective creativity of the group.” - Julie Jablonski
"(Her) class fed my soul." - Jody
"(Annie) made everything we covered in this introduction to encaustic session all the more fun. I enjoyed (her) try-it, you-can-do-no-wrong approach. It freed us to work with abandon and not be afraid of making mistakes." - Vivienne
I also hold classes from time to time at New Cottage Arts in Denver. For information on New Cottage Arts and their stellar class offerings and instructors, please visit New Cottage Arts where you can register for my group classes and workshops.
